We're hiringCareers at Moonlit Labs

AI research lab

We study where AI and the real world meet.

Moonlit Labs is an early-stage research lab. No products yet — only questions worth spending serious time on, at the intersection of AI, business, and frontier technology.

Current focus

Early-stage. No products. All questions.

We have nothing to sell. We are here to understand something.

Our questions sit at the intersection of AI capability and the real world — how organizations absorb these systems, what makes them reliable under actual conditions, and what they unlock in fields like autonomous vehicles where serious research is still needed.

Focus

Three areas where AI and the real world still have a lot to work out.

01

Business & AI

We examine how AI creates genuine leverage inside organizations — where it fits naturally, where it breaks down, and what conditions make adoption real rather than cosmetic.

02

Enterprise Intelligence

We investigate what it takes for AI to be reliable and trusted in corporate environments — what evaluation, oversight, and process look like when the stakes are actual.

03

Frontier Technology

We study AI at the edge of the possible — autonomous vehicles, robotics, and emerging systems where the gap between research and the real world is still wide open.

How we work

Early-stage. No products. All questions.

Moonlit Labs is a research lab in the earliest sense — no product roadmap, no clients, no deliverables. We read, investigate, collaborate, and document what we find. Everything is oriented toward understanding, not shipping.

  • How does AI create durable value inside an organization?
  • What makes enterprise AI trustworthy, not just impressive?
  • Where does AI change what is physically possible in the world?
  • What does it take to close the gap between research and reality?

Tesla Motors

AI & Robotics Division

We are conducting joint research with Tesla's AI and Robotics team — studying how advanced models intersect with the challenges of real-world autonomous systems, from perception and decision-making to the conditions under which self-driving technology can genuinely be trusted.

Availability

No public intake.

We are a research lab, not a service provider. We are not accepting project inquiries, consulting requests, or sales outreach. The work is early and we are keeping it that way for now.
